Re: Florida Gold 400 problem

Well you may not like the way that I completed the map, but the fact is that I did. $1.4 Billion is not shabby, and I completed all objectives with 2 years remaining on the first play thru. Sorry, I do not follow scripts. The intentions where to play the map, not watch a play.

Re: Florida Gold 400 problem

Cobra Driver - Paper is not the only problem, Food from Tally has the same problem. As better strategy, connect to Titusville and set up a run from the grain and corn farms to the dairy farm near Belle Glade. Once you are making cheese in Titusville connect to the port and start running Double stack...

Yes, it is a white paper sleeve, just like the programing they went as cheap as possible.

Correction - they did pop for a window in the paper sleeve, so that you can see the artwork on the disk. Last of the big spenders. Woo Woo!

Rodea - I think you miss read the intention of the mapper. The power plant in the map is a coal fired power plant, not just a power plant. The coal fired power plant from the BBs has a large coal pile next to the power plant, the stock item from the game does not. That is why the coal power plant FP...

You do not need to uninstall SMRI. All you need to do is rename your existing Sid Meier's Railroads! folder to something like Sid Meier's Railroads!ORG and start the game. Once the game starts at the main menu, you exit the game. Return to the My Games folder you will find that the disk has created ...

Hello Rodea That is one of the reasons that we are making the BBs in the first place. The hope is to make is easier for Mappers to Map and Modelers to Mod. Copy and paste is easier then to type and cause errors. We can not do anything about the stock items created by Fireaxis. Those will stay as the...

Hello Rodea The Idea of the BBs is that if the modeler alter the BB, they will only have to change the basic name. Jancsika's intention is to limit errors by following a standard format. By having the 4 different forms of Build Up, creates a problem since most people tend to think that a standard na...

Again I can see that you are lost in the tangents that you have created. The subject of Rift Valley 3 and the cotton Mill are your own tangents, while at the same time you made the statement that: "Fraxis didn't make that mistake...it was a typo in the global files that I found...those global files ...

...yes they did...but the Modder was the one that mixed them up. I have seen the Build_Up and BuildUp set both ways, but when a modder makes something new from a default game model that ran fine then is broken after the edits.... No Lowell they did not. The example in post one of this thread...

Buildup and Build_up A La Fireaxis style.

Lowell - The fact is that Fireaxis DID use 2 different formats. Proof of this is provided by looking at the RRT_Industries.XML As found in the Program Files, ...Assets/XML. <!-- Industries --> <Industries> <RRTIndustry> <szName>Food Plant</szName> <szModel>FoodPlant.kfm</szModel> <szGrowKFM>FoodPlan...

I guess this is where I chime in on this subject. When Snoopy and I concieved of the plan for SAM, the objective of the project was to cut the loaded content of the game to just what is required to run the game. My version of the project is more extensive then what Snoopy's version contains since al...

It really is a simple anology. At least in North America, most villages where build with wood. As the villages grew, some building started to be made of stone and bricks. Even today most homes are built of wood. Where I live, in South Florida, the primary building material is Concrete and CBS block....
