Thanks for the feedback.
Personally, I like running passengers. I let the goods be randomly placed which I suppose means they end up fairly close together. None of them seem to end up around the cities furthest from the center.

Ok. It works now, so I posted it here: http://www.hookedgamers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1495 I don't really care so much about the events. Something I noticed - the AI seems even dumber than usual on larger-than-average maps, it just isn't able to compete at all, even in the beginning. And it alwa...

This is just my first working scenario. At least it's not crashing all the time.

I tried that, removed all the events using resources I didn't have, but it was still crashing on some events, dunno which. Then I removed all the European events, and everything in the US events but the szTitle property, like in the Firaxis scenarios, and now I actually managed to play it through an...

If I can ever get anything to work, I'd post it. I managed to get a bit further. Now I can actually play for a while before it crashes. I noticed that, if I reload (when I can reload, half the time the savegames get corrupted so it hangs during loading) it sometimes doesn't crash and I get one of th...

Material created after it was made... like the map editor? Because I don't use anything else out of the ordinary (patches and Santa). I tried the XML marker which didn't find anything. Going through XML files manually doesn't sound like much fun, especially when I don't know what I'm looking for. I ...

But once I edit it a bit in the Scenario Manager, it starts crashing again seconds after I start it :( I've tried it with another scenario as well, this time I didn't delete the default city but just changed the name, and I didn't get the Nameless bug. But it still keeps crashing after I used SM on ...

I'll try it. I assume it is the default city... The first thing I did when starting the map was to delete it. Once I noticed the bug, I also used the map editor to delete one of the other cities and replace it with TNC renamed, which didn't work. Change this: <DepotsXMLFile>RRT_Depots_Blank.xml</Dep...

The Nameless City problem
Ok, I did try searching but did not find this particular problem mentioned. I just tried creating my first map in the in-game editor, added the cities, then used the Scenario Manager to fix trains and city types and a few things. I can run the scenario, but get a CTD after a matter of minutes. It no...
