What do you have in mind, a 15x15? Do you want to include Ireland, too? Or will it just focus on the expansion through england into scotland?

The game crashes if you place too many industries and then try to play with AIs. I think the magic number is 21.

I tried, I didn't see anything for it. I believe it's hardcoded in.

Also, I found that if I tampered with adding or removing stages of city development, I couldn't use the growcity parameter as a victory condition.

Each engine has a v1, v2, or tgv flag in the trains.xml. So, if you buy a 4.4.0 American in 1995, it's going to have v1 cars, and if you bought a Fseries in 1830, it would have v2. However, the year 1900 is correct; the consolidation is the last (american) thain to have v1s, and the pacific (1900) i...

Cool map, I just gave it a try and it's fun to play my map with another artist's twist on it.

My map does use a different goldmine, I changed the footprint to a desert so it would blend it better with arid locations, and so it would look different from iron mines.

I designed America to take a break from the map I was working on but never finished, The Empire State (NY). New York had pre-placed resources, and I wanted something a little more random for my America map. I left it up to chance, even though I knew it would occasionally cause issues. If it is a maj...

The game only lays down a certain number of resources on the map- It's been a while since I worked on the game, but I think it's like 18 or 21. With this map, I included a lot of resources, like 9 or 10 I think. So if there are a few resources that appear 3 or 4 times, chances are there are a few th...

These are both fun maps, and it's nice to see new content being released. I'd recommend smoothing the coastlines and riverbeds a bit with the map editor. I think bringing the coastlines down to a smooth beach would look very nice. What kinds of trains were/are used in Africa? Maybe some British or G...

It means that the train has set a speed record and has been given a special name. You can rename it, if you so desire. It also makes bonus cash on passenger deliveries.

I've found those icons inside the game files. It's probably an earlier build.

I can't honestly say that another update for this map is in the works; I don't have too much time to work on my maps and I'm currently working on a map of New York State and the surrounding region. What specific industries, goods, traincars, etc were you planning to add, Bill?

Snoopy- I use photoshop, I generally start with a pre-existing icon, freshly plucked from interface.fpk, that already has the perfectly round shape. I then modify it and make the icon I need.
