I got the same effect by editing the 242's parameters in CustomAssets/XML/Audio/ audiodefines, however both of these approaches still have the same downfall: the 242 Holiday Special in Tycoon's Tale will no longer have it's christmas cheer. Of course, I'm not going to lose any sleep over that, but n...

The 242 Holiday Special: A train for all seasons?
Call me a grinch, but I always thought that the Holiday special was a waste of a train. Besides the festive paint scheme, the train has so many jingling bells and holiday-themed whistles it seems completely out of place anywhere but on the Christmas map. A shame, too, since it's a pretty sharp looki...

I gave you some feedback on this game before I think, but may have missed these before. In the sentence for the Victory screen you state that 20 carloads fo passengers have to be transd from NEW York and San Fransisco. The Numbers require 40 for each. The second is, and I know Canada has the Canadi...

The installer should have added Iron and Machinery to the globals (goods and traincars.) The installer shouldn't add anything else, only Iron and Machinery to goods and their cars to Traincars. Those are the only changes I've made to the globals. The machinery car is based on the food car. Appearant...

Re: Industry questions
I hate to be the bearer of bad news... Random resources are unforunately all or nothing. If you place even one resource or industry, you have to place them all. Your map has to either be completely random or completely pre-determined. This goes for both out of city resources and in city industries. ...

The AEM7 is all done. I ended up making a GG1 and Hudson (by reskinning the p5a and A1) in the same way I made the AEM7, and included some more custom content, including 2 new goods (machinery and iron), complete with reskinned cars (a brown boxcar and a rusty hopper.) I also redid the gold mine's t...

Email's giving me trouble, so I'll post this here. This is my Manifest Destiny map, version 1.2. This is a beta. Install it at your own peril , as this beta may interfere with other maps on your system (It does not use the Master XMLs yet; in fact if you don't back up your custom assets it might ove...

Gimme gimme gimme! :D They look cool, I'd love to see how they looked behind my AEM7. Can't wait to get my hands on em, especially that second skin. I've been using the TGV cars with the AEM7 but I have a feeling that these will look perfect behind it. I can send you a copy of the AEM7 if you want t...
