I did a few pre-patch experiment and the attach gives most of the results. They also apply post patch afaik. This is all on hard routing and the example is rather basic. rapheous -- yes but I think the idea is efficient use of resources. If we were playing Civ4 we would not take Cavalry to fight against a spearman, if that Cavalry was necessary to win a fight of numbers against Cossacks. Here the resource is not the resources on the map, coal, grain, etc. but money....

I would like to ask Firaxis how to mod (if possible) or patch the game so that we can hold the cargo in a station to be picked up later by another train. I believe it doen't finish at the tiime you meet all the goals since it still computes your net worth and other variables which will indicate your level on the final splash screen (the listing that goes in the Hall of Fame). So "finishing" a scenario is only part of the score that gets finally liste...

At the other end of the scale, I was in a multiplayer Island Hopping map on Robber Baron and since there is no bankruptcy (even with negative net worth) the game goes on forever. You can't declare bankruptcy as in rrt3 and I am surprised that as its a Sid Meiers game there aren't 'diplomacy' options...
