This is an absolutely fantastic map. I was going back to RRT 3 and saw this map. Not having much luck in meeting the goals in the time frame but this is a map worthy of RRT 3 Trans-Siberian map fame. (along with Prince of Steel and others.)

I did a few pre-patch experiment and the attach gives most of the results. They also apply post patch afaik. This is all on hard routing and the example is rather basic. Most depends not on the track layout but on the terminals chosen for the trains. For example: A,B & C are in a straight line. A si...

rapheous -- yes but I think the idea is efficient use of resources. If we were playing Civ4 we would not take Cavalry to fight against a spearman, if that Cavalry was necessary to win a fight of numbers against Cossacks. Here the resource is not the resources on the map, coal, grain, etc. but money....

Firaxis -- Let us hold cargo at stations

The value of the cargo would decline as it sits there with the same (or another) formula as it does in transport now. I have often run into the si...

I believe it doen't finish at the tiime you meet all the goals since it still computes your net worth and other variables which will indicate your level on the final splash screen (the listing that goes in the Hall of Fame). So "finishing" a scenario is only part of the score that gets finally liste...

At the other end of the scale, I was in a multiplayer Island Hopping map on Robber Baron and since there is no bankruptcy (even with negative net worth) the game goes on forever. You can't declare bankruptcy as in rrt3 and I am surprised that as its a Sid Meiers game there aren't 'diplomacy' options...
