Hum. Are there any coded limits on FPS? I'm gettings some rather strange numbers when I yank up the graphics to the following: 2x AA High texture quality Full tree density Low shadow quality Medium Shader quality FPS while watching: 16-20fps. What are your settings, out of curiosity? At home, I run an x800 on a P4 2.0 Ghz with a gig of RAM and get 30fps. Resolution: 1280x768 Everything else: As low as possible. @Atheai: The 'next destination' thing would probably mean some major changes and complications. Haven't listed it up top but if others will 'second' it, we'll put it up. Some of your other suggestions are already adressed in the upcoming patch. Hum, you might be right. Another (and easier) solution...

I've had no particular problems yet with my Core Duo processor, and I can't say I felt much difference in the performance changing the CPU affinity; it's still laggy :)
