The most likely issue is xml file dates. SMR loads files based on the newest one available according to file system edit dates. The Mac OS build has newer files, and thus you must open and resave all XMLs.
Your post says you did that, but this is the only known issue with the Mac build.

Are there any maps I have missed posting to the front page? If so could someone link me to them? Just reply here if possible.

Re: Australia
Sadly http://www.sidmeiersrailroads.net/ is a blank page over on this side of the ocean too. In the past my understanding was this is based on ISP. For example being in Tokyo at work our ISP is Biglobe, a big japanese ISP. Yet it gets caught in a asia wide ban, thus the blank page. From what I can r...

Updated forum software, sadly this lost our fancy theme
Hello Everyone I am still busy with my day job, I am the main programmer on the game TINY METAL , but I was able to steal away some time to update the version of phpBB powering this forum. As a side effect of the upgrade sadly we have lost the theme we inherited from the old site which hosted this f...

Reason for the Server Crashes
Just a heads up everyone, I figured out why the site was crashing. The SQL server uses too much memeory and crashes. Things should all be a-ok, just needs a reboot.

Re: New Map Posted
Thank you Slider. Your Minnesota map is now the first and likely only map for 2015. Honestly, it feels hard to express how long this site has stayed alive. Next month will mark 9 years since SMR's release. I started on smrsimple in mid-2009. Weird to think that it took 3 years for me to start smrsim...

To be fair vzbob, my new IP is also blocked and that one is a residential IP from OCN. The chance spammers were using it is about zero.
