well this is just a game ... not real life and it is already established that this game is not even close to being as complicated as the previous games.

This game was designed to be easy to learn and quick game play for multi player.

Looks like the game will be fairly customizable soon.

I just bought trains , every time I had enough to fill 3 carloads ... then I sold the trains once they delivered.

I have same cpu as you , 2 gigs of corsair ddr2 , and a geforce7600gt. Game runs smooth as silk... I downloaded a patch from the AMD site for the dual core processor, helps games interact with the 2 cpu's. Things that could happen if you dont have the patch is game lock ups , crashes, and weird grap...

I am going to make a wild guess and say it has something to do with your computer not the game. Most people are raving about the patch and how it saved the game for them. The demo doesnt have everything the patch has. Your problems sounds like video ... or maybe the CPU. Useful information would be ...

I have played them all. I have played them all quite a bit ... I still like Railroads! for what it is ... This game certainly isnt the worst game I have played. 5) how do I make the spline tool work? Once by accident I was laying out track and it went into a strange spline curve mode where I could change the curve. Never ever managed to go that again in many hours of play! Start laying track by left clicking and releasing ... extend the track how you want ...

I dont usually worry about a 200 mph crossover since the train is about to slow down to get into the station or is just leaving a station. you cant block a buy out .. all you can do is buy them out first or expand faster than they can get income ... Simple is always the best ... trains dont seem to beable to see past 2 signals ... and they will switch to a track on a crossover even if another train is on that track ... in some situations anyway.
