Welcome to the real world.
This kind of software is now state of the art.

And I am agreeing with your post.

That is the bad part of the real world.

maybe so, but you should expect any any game on a topic to be at least as good as any existing version.

Maybe, but it remains the best tutorial I've seen on this topic.
Bisides the concepts are foreign to anybody who needs to read it.

Oh

this all makes sence now.

I would like to draw your attention to the PM function of most forums.

as this would obviously be a better technique for this very particular process.

um I am trying to be nice here, but you seem to be saying that eye-candy is more important than substance in a game. That dog won't hunt. Nothing I said above implied or otherwise stated that eye-candy is more important than substance in a game. What I posted was a very non-techie explanation of th...

You're thinking the graphical detail isn't very high because the visual style of the game is so bright and colorful, but we're using more advanced rendering techniques than any prior Firaxis product and pushing a pretty significant amount of polys and textures around every frame. Consider that ever...

lets not forget the obvious
dumbing down the graphics requirements so more players could play.

After all Skyfox is already 20 years old
we don't need another eye-candy only game.

(Now you know why I was looking for that name)

Yes, the demo looks interesting
once you get past the drowning in splashes.

BTW the tender mod seems to work in the Demo
if you apply it directly.

And there is that mod to dry up those splashes.

Well Well, nice to see interesting things

Allready seeing SMR trainers on the download sites.

So have you tried the game?
Does it live up to your expectations?

Most of the reviews that I've been able to find are
quite non-flattering.

Like those from users on Amazon.
