Eastern Europe map, centred on Ukraine (Poland, Russia, etc)

Post by kennelly » Mon May 04, 2009 2:38 pm

If you'd like to try my new Eastern Europe (ukraine) map, it can now be downloaded from my web site, at http://www.mike.kennelly.dsl.pipex.com/ ... /index.htm

Stretches from Poland to Iraq, and from Russia to the Balkans.

Hope you like it.

I suggest that you post your map on this forum if you want people to look at them.

This is the guy that posted those great mapping tutorials, so in my book, he could post maps on the moon and I would try to get them from there.

The Moon is a little too far! :P
You can have it closer at the adress below:

Seriously though. Some of us are trying to convince members to post them on this or other public forums. That way it will be preserved for years to come, while private Web site might get changed or get abandoned.

Nice contribution kennelly!
This map has an interesting innovation, using the textures to highlight political entities. And i learnt more about Eastern Europe, for example how to locate Tbilisi!
Routes Ukraine RB Bismarck.jpg
Anyway, Bismarck wouldn't allow me to buy 70% of his shares, so I had to buy him out - Robber Baron, hard routing.

This was a great map.

Who knew that Warsaw was so busy!

Agree with the other's comments that it's a great geography lesson this one.

Great stuff! Thanks. I've loved both this and UK Peninnes. I'm off to find more of your maps now!

Agreed! A lot of fun this map. The scenario goals forced me to go to parts of the map I would not have necessissarily gone to, and am glad I did. Well done!.
