Supercharging a Terminal

Post by dustmote » Sun Apr 11, 2010 2:20 pm

If its a programming issue, there probably isn't much that can be done. But is there a way to create a larger Terminal? IE. Can a Super Terminal be created that would allow for 6, 8, 12, etc rails to pass through a Terminal?

Hoping there is a way..

No, it can not be done. 4 track is the maximum.

Is it cuz of game engine, or cuz we can't find a file to modify it?

It is hardwired. But a very effective way to supercharge a terminal is to connect two in/outgoing rails to each station track, essentially doubling the traffic the station can process. See below for an example.

IIRC, if you can't get 4 tracks at stations and terminals, it means you didn't apply the patch. A glitch lets it apply to stations too, not just the terminals.
