bRequired tag - what is it for?

Hey y'all!
I'm currently adding some victory conditions to a map, and I'm curious as to what the bRequired tag does. So far, I haven't noticed any instances where it was set any other value than 1...
Also, if you have multiple victory conditions in a given era, is there a way to set this so that you only have to complete a number of them (instead of all of them) to achieve era victory?
