CRASH Basin & Range

Post by elcapitanpascoal » Fri Jul 04, 2008 10:26 am

Hi there.....new on this forum and I'm so happy I found this. Downloaded already several maps but this Basin-Map is just the best......
Now, I have a problem. I can start a game, play it, but I can't load it again after I saved it. The other maps all work good, the Basin Map also, but I just can't laod it again....

I have extracted the three main files to a folder and then installed it....

Can someone help please.....thanx.

The Basin-Map is special. What has helped others is to start a fresh Basin-Map game, and then load your save game from there. Try it and please let us know if that works for you. :P

Hello as karsten said, just start a new basin and range game and after a few minutes playing this new game just go to the menu and open you saved game.

This helps as loads a lot of the map requirmments into memory.

I had the same trouble with Florida Gold...it is larger and has more content than Basin and Range. I found my save game trouble to be an error in game content. I fixed mine and the save game trouble went away. I believe the trouble is an error in the maps xml's or game content files that is causing this saved game trouble.
