King_Coal SAM

Develop West Virginia

This is my first map. It includes a few new goods and industries. Breaking into West Virginia is not an inexpensive affair. I hope you will find this to be an interesting map. Slider38

Warll has been kind enough to host my map. Due to size contraints I was unable to upload it to this site. You can find it here:

There is an excellent site that you can have your map uploaded.
http://www.smrsimple.com/
It will take any size map.
Also Hawks forum has some of the larger maps posted.

If you email it to me at warll.dressler [AT) gmail.com then I can host it and give to a direct link to the map.

PS: It isn't possible for me to download it from bkbobby.

Well thought out and well-designed map. There are a few new industries, which brings added zest to a map. The scenario seems to be rather simple at the first glance, but as I’ve found out it is not the case. One has to be careful to aim for the last Era, because while the other Eras run 25, 35, 45 years, the last Era is only 10 years. (Did not finish the automobiles and manufactured goods) :( .
There were no errors or CTD-s. It’s very stable. The terrain is difficult enough to make it a challenge to have a proper track layout.
I hope that we will see more of your maps in the future.
Congratulation. :!:

Thank you. It was quite a learning experience. You will find a fair amount of change in difficulty depending on where you start. The tough part was trying to get balance between playability and difficulty. Anyway, thanks again for your kind remarks. Slider

Good Job Tactician. I appreciate your giving it a try. I'm working on a new one, but it will be a while yet. Slider
