The year is 1835.
See if you can be a true Railroad Tycoon in the Tycoon's back yards.

There are plenty of resources and industry to choose from.
It’s a Scenario/Custom/Multiplayer map with random industries.
That’s right, a Scenario with Random Industries.
This will test your skills in new ways every time you play it.
This map is for SMR (v) 1.10 and uses the “Tweaked” stock/vanilla industries that came with the game.

This map should be good for most skill levels.

Performance Note: You will need a more then minimum rig to run this map with out CTDs.
I play on my Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2 Laptop with an M 2.0 GHz processor, 1.5 Gigs of Ram, nVidia 6800 GO Ultra with 256 dedicated ram. My video card gets very hot esp. as things get busy on the map in the 20 century.

Tip: Close down everything you can in Task Manager or use FSAutoStart to shut things down for you every time you play.

Hi all,

I see New England Big has been downloaded 119 times and I'm glad people are playing the map.
I haven't seen any comments as of yet and it's been almost two months. I hope it's because no one has any trouble with my map.
I do know that the custom Events isn't working for some reason and I'll have to look into that.
If anyone has any suggestions on anything else with NE Big just let me know and I'll take it under advisement on the next update.

Yes It is a great map and it runs just fine.
If there is no comment, that means no trouble and that's what you want.
But it is thoughtless from us not to make some nice remarks sometimes.( I know how you feel)

As time allows I'll be working on a new map. I'll have to look at/play all the maps to come up with something "NEW".

Hi all,
I’ve been playing SMRR again..

I'd like to make a new map when time permits..
I have two or three in mind all centered in the north east. One or two Local style commerce i.e. New York City, New Haven line and spars.

One North East: North of DC up into New England.

I'm also thinking of a Baltic map/s.
