karsten - courious  about something, you want certain things to happen at certain times. One thing that does control this is the Era sets in the Scenario file. Give it a begin time, an end time of a month later and either use the ERA materials or try inserting an Event section minus:
<szEarliestDate>1/1800</szEarliestDate>
<szLatestDate>12/2050</szLatestDate>
<fProbability>0.2</fProbability>
you could change the Title, Headline and SubHead.

I don't know what this would do the the Era screen, but who knows, it might work :?:
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

Great map with a good design!

I played it in the last days and love it. If you keep building fast and think about the best ways to get money before the AI can "steal" it, you'll succeed here. One disadvantage: The long ways between the points of interest ;).

Daniel I am sure pleased you are enjoying Scrooge :D I am always looking for comments to improve my maps, but I am not very clear what you mean by this:

Hehe...

The way between Populus (?) and the "fish station/harbor" (don't know the english word right now) or the lonely cities in the mountains are a little bit too lonesome. It would look better (and it would be more fun) if you could do something in these wide areas than just build a track to nowhere ;) !

Scrooge depends on resources installed with the Firaxis holiday scenario - did you install that first? Any other details you can provide?
Cheers, K. :)
