I'm sure everyone will keep this game, and keep there old XP systems for it, hundreds of years into the future. This forum will join it aswell. Who would want to get rid of it?

HEY! I still play wasteland (the game that the fallout games are based on) which was made for the old tandy/IBM and apple computers (come to think of it, it may have been on colecovision too!)... And I have a dos emulator since they dumped dos with xp, -so don't make fun of us nostalgic types!!!

The game runs just fine, under the following conditions:

1/ You have a graphics card from THIS millenium.
2/ You have 2GB RAM or more.
3/ You talk dirty to the game while it's loading.

Bet you forgot at least one of those.... and here you've been struggling for so long and it was so simple...

Mine runs great on Vista, Win 7. Thre should be no reason why it doesn't run fine.

I use an EVGA Nvidia motherboard, Nvidia 900 series graphics, quad core cpu, 8gigs of ram 2000mhz, 1000w power for all the drives and blue ray drives, 32" monitor 2500x1900 hdmi, and have had Florida Gold running with 62 trains tons of cars everywhere...maxed out to the hilt...and I even let it run all night for more than ten hours after being stuffed full and kept running.

I think the game runs just fine.

Ahhh Lowell, I do believe that last line is advertising for profit which is not allowed on the forum. That is why the "Jorden Shoes" posts get deleted.

I have couple dos programs which I still use every now and then, and one game by the name 4D Boxing with blocky graphic. The game still provide the fun with it's simplicity. I will keep this Railroads for some time, as it is enjoyable to play I guess.
