Double-Tunnels

Post by Pwned132 » Sat Jan 26, 2008 9:06 pm

I am most annoyed by the fact that every time I try to double up a track that goes through a tunnel, that the game creates a separate tunnel instead of doubling the tunnel up. Is there a way the I can make a tunnel like that? I have seen screenshots of tunnels with two separate tracks going through them and i'm not quite sure if they are true screenshots or if i'm just stupid. Thanks.

The doubled tunnel was added in patch 1.1 (Or was it in patch 1.01). Anyway just patch your game.

Well, the game basically just does what it want from a graphical stand point.
You can't choose to build 'double tunnels' as you describe them,
so the game has to generate them if it thinks its appropriate.

Don't pay too much attention as to how your tunnels look.
You will run into many more issues during the game.
Like track overlapping, crops floating in mid air etc.
Don't let it bother you too much.

When you get those special wooden tunnels through low hills, and double track them, they sometimes go away altogether and what I have left are two sets of track going into and coming out of a low hill again with no tunnel. Argh.

Hahah yea, I know what you mean.
That's because some of our trains are in a constant state of flux
and able to travel between different dimensions, phasing in and out
of existence as they move along the tracks.

"Tunnels? We don't need no stinkin tunnels!"
