Only One Patent?

Post by Dosmodious » Sun Dec 16, 2007 2:48 pm

I couldn't find this in the rules, but for some reason when I already have a patent, and another becomes available, I'm not able to bid on the that new patent. I know I'm a new player, but is this a bug or a rule?

No I had plenty of cash, almost a million dollars worth and the patent was only about 160k...

I really don't know what's wrong

You just need to wait for the first patent to finish its auction, then the second auction kicks in. 8)

With a million in cash, how big was your "net worth?" Also, If your game came from Firaxis & you patched it with the Firaxis 110.zip patch, then you should be okay. Otherwise, you are experiencing a local bug. You can have as many patents as you can afford to win at auction, just adding one at a time.
