somewhat different crash problem

Post by perrya » Mon Jan 25, 2010 6:30 am

I just replaced my MB (P5P43TD) and CPU (Intel Core 2 Duo), so I boosted my memory to 4 GB. Have a GT220 with 1 GB on board. I just re-installed XP Pro on a new HD, updated drivers, and this is the first game I've put on, including the 1.1 patch. I can play the mesa and canyon scenario, but the east coast scenario blows as soon as I try to lay some double track on my starting depot, and the mid-west scenario blows when I click the start button.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

This is strange.
Check the comaptibility of the "RailRoads.exe" should be set on XP servive pack 2 or maybe 3.
By any chance the maybe the installation was corrupted?

In cases like this I normally completely deleted the installed game and did a clean reinstallation.
