well I guess it does depend on what the file is, .nif, .dds and .kfm go in the /trains folder xml files will go into the /xml folder, sometimes. I really wish there was an easyier way for us to install mods, like there is with X3 or several other games I use. I always try to include as complete instructions as I can, as it always makes things easyier.
eilelwen - that's a point everyone should be aware of, ease of instalation. Not everyone understands how to do this stuff. I just had my sister question me about a proble her grandson (upper teens) was having with a program that was supposed to make his games run faster. To make it short, it was a DVD-CD drive that had beern installed and he couldn't play any game that required a disk. The two of them thought it was a program gone bad. Not everyone understands how to go into the computer and install programs or, worse yet, make changes in programs. ALL instructions need to be written as if the reader knew nothing about what they are doing. This may be they're first time. And noone should feel offended about how it is written. There are hundreds of people reading these, each with a different level of knowledge. We need to understand that, and post as such.
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....
