MrScott's US Logo Pack

Post by MrScott2007 » Mon Nov 06, 2006 2:52 pm

After mastering the creation of alpha channels, my logos are ready to be seen.

I've made a pack of 60 logos from all areas of the US. The logos will overwrite the genric logos in the game.

This may not be the final version.

Let me know what you think of them.

Correct if I am wrong, shouldn't the specs be greyscale images and not colored ones.

Also the CNR logo you use is not the one they stick on the trains. thats their 1954 Logo which was replaced with the current logo of today back in 1960.

Also are you going to be adding this to your pack El as a super. Don't like overwriting decals.

Its a good pack though but it will overwrite the default logos and El's 44 pack logo he released.

Thanks for posting

I found that there was no real need to make the greyscale images for something so small. In the game they fairly hard to see. I was told that the greyscale image had to do with the shinyness of the image.

The CNR logo was just what I had avalible to me. I found a site that had these logos on them, however I can't remember what the site was. A google search turned up nothing. If anybody can find this site, let me know and I'll make some more.

Overwriting-So far I've found that the logos have to be numbered or they will not work. If I merged them with another pack I would have to change the file names. Which can be done.

Believe it or not, I just found the site with these logos. So if anybody wants to make a request, I'll add it on to the pack.

They are quite good and with the combined packs everyone in North American should be happy.

The CP logos you can get right from their site. The have every logo in gif image from the start until I think 2001 when they released the gold image and when back to the beaver and leaf.

I've added about 5 more logos...The newer Canadian National (CN), Western Maryland (Fireball), Bosten And Maine (minute man), Burlington and Texas and Pacific.

I think the logos came out so well because they came from Hi-rez pictures.

I'll wait for a day, if anybody has any request they'd like me to add. Then I'll make the final adjustments to the file names.
