Great new engines.
Finally there is somebody who can do steam engines.
There is so much more romance in the steam locomotives, than in those modern, smooth and slick diesel engines. They appeal to the HP (horsepower) lovers, but for character you can’t beat the steam…

Thanks
Yep, thats why I like them too.
Btw what do you think about the smooth model? Makes it look like it had like 2-3 times more polygons, I think.

Its the first time I used that with a steam engine, I got the bad feeling, that I have to change all my other models the same way.

There are no XMLs on the GS-2 Rev 2, including the the GS-4 AFT, and SP v2.

New Download for GS-2 and the three GS-4 Models!
Delete the previous files before install, that should be the 4-8-4_GoldenState and 6 Axles Tender Animation folders!!

I repacked everything with the newest files, also added mipmapping to the texture files.

They definitly work, if the XML editing is made correct.

There's an animation problem on the GS-6 Rev2.

I think this is caused by the unavailability of four kf Files that serves to drive the Wheels, look at the picture below

Because 4-8-4_GS-6 just re-skin from the 4-8-4_GS so unnecessary to rename the Kfs file and simply use the Original KFs

Thats right, forgot to include the new kf files in the package

Unfortunately you cant use the common GS animation for it, because it is not just a reskin. The Main drive wheels and the corresponding rods were modified to match the lower diameter. (Thats why they are called 4-8-4_GS-LD_WHEEL... .kf)

But thanks guys, to point me to that. Strange that the construction kit version contains the kf files already

I reuploaded the package with the kf files -> Update 2.2
