Help with recoloring F series

Post by gregbuff » Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:31 pm

Hi, I am having an issue with recoloring a skin, out of the 4 skins for each loco what is the one that I want to color? Then what do I do with it. I have a file converter so that's not a problem. I also downloaded the "train skinning pack" but I am still a bit confused. Any help would be great....
Thanks,
Greg

To be honest without abilty with 3d software it's a liitle difficult to re-skin F Series or GP series, especially if you want to put the railroad name on the both sides, because F series and GP Series only have 1 side on the DDS template file, you need to make a decal for this, but it's must be done with 3ds software. hope so will be patient waiting until my F7AB Series coming here, because that mod have dds template with both sides

AutoCad not support to edit NIF File, just use 3ds Max, GMax, Blender or any kind software wich supporting NIF format file

sound good.....but I suggest to you download 3ds max 8, because you need plugin namely niftoolmax plugin, and I'm not sure if this plugin support for 3ds max 2010
