I just thought I'd add another engine for the US Scenarios, using an existing engine! I simply copied another engine and re-branded it the "4-4-2 Atlantic!" I know it was rather stupid, but I just felt the need to have a 4-4-2 for a stop-gap between the Consolidation and Pacific!
I used the de Glehn Atlantic as the basis, because it's the only 4-4-2 in the game, as well as to pay tribute to Railroad Tycoon Deluxe, which also had an Atlantic that used the artwork for the French 4-4-2!

Re: 4-4-2 Atlantic
I copied the speed, etc. from the 4-2-2 Spinner.

With an XLM editor (or a text editor) you can open the RRT_Trains_Mapname.xml file, find the engine you want to edit and change the lines:
<MaxSpeed>XX</MaxSpeed>
<Speed0>XX</Speed0>
<Power>XX</Power>
You have to put your own number in place of the “XX” .
Be sure you back up before you try.
