As articulateds are usually 5 car sections in length, I'm not sure they would work to well on this game. Even if you could, by the time you got the 40th car loaded at the dock you'd be past the city where you needed to unload them.

But it's a thought......

I'm sure we could build a large map with cities farther apart for them.

Personally I'd like a few more repaints for the newer streamlined electrics... like giving the TGV an Amtrak Acella repaint, etc.

Nothing gets past you boys......

MSTS.jpg

The wheel problem came about for some reason I'm not sure about. Pasted the skin I did onto the TGV DDS. Should not have filled in the alpha channel, but hey........

As to colors, those were from the pics Star Ranger4 refered us to. There are few pic of the top of those things. Found these tho:

http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 82&nseq=45

http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 41&nseq=80

http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 0&nseq=107

I don't like the fact that the top is enclosed on the model when it's open on the real thing. We could try to edit the structure, but for one Engine....is it really worth it?

I'll do the red pantograph. The blasted curves on the blue and black was torture, and I'm still not quite satisfied, but hey, why do a perfect peice of equipment for an imperfect world.......

If I get to close in a pause shot, three of the four decals fade out. And as someone will end up noticing, part of the number decal is also part of the red stripe. 1 pixel covers an area that is covered by the next 10 pixels next to it, and a straight line does a heavy drop right at that point...... The only solution was a decal rig....much like Amtrak might do.....

I'm working on the car tho it might take a little longer as I have to create my own shadow frame. If you have a particular car you want done, post it. There are 5 or 6 designs for the cars. ( http://www.railfaneurope.net/tgv/models ... acela.html ). Mind you I'm playing with the 3 window model at the moment.

Star Ranger4 - expect a bill from STEP Inc.
