Are you a perfectionist?

Post by Skibabinz » Sun Apr 03, 2011 6:14 pm

I don't know what it is, but when I'm laying track and say I have a line on a bit of a hill and I am trying to connect another line to it, if, when I connect them, the connecting line looks like its rails are being partially covered up by the gravel from the higher one, I will reroute it until it looks even.

Wow that was a big sentence.

Another thing is when I am running an overpass over another track, be it mine or the AI, if the pillars holding it up are on the tracks it annoys me to death. I suppose I just like to have my railways looking as natural as possible.

Anyone else like this? Lol

I've never messed with the over lapping gravel but I can attest to having altered lines to avoid pillars landing on track.

Sure, I like doing both. I will often sacrifice a bit of efficiency for good looks :D
