I am not a spammer. I have played Sid Meiers Railroad (all 3 versions) since the original Railroad Tycoon. I have downloaded and played just about all the new maps posted at this website. I especially enjoyed the NAFTA maps, My Old Kentucky Home, Alaska, Russia, Holidays in Ohio, and others. I have recently developed a new map of the early days of the southern USA before the Civil War that I would like to post and share with others. I call it "Gone With the Wind". I am requesting that you allow me access so I can post the maps and discuss SMR issues with other users. I have enjoyed reading user comments and the tutorials on how to prepare maps, game playing strategies, etc. As fun as the game is, developing maps is maybe even more fun.

I have recently finished a map that I have been working on
for over a year.. It has been tested without any crashes.
The scenario depicts the New York Central and The Erie Railroads.

I have loaded Railroad on a new computer and when I get to the main menu, I loose the use of the mouse and cannot start the program. Any Idea how to correct this?

Yes I am human and have been so for 75+ years now. Love this game SMR as our Grandchildren. They are fast and good. I am slower and do not play as much as am into Sim Racing and that keeps me on my toes.

Still come to SRS for a great change of pace as well ae the old Sim Golf another great program by Sid.

Hi, was here earlier nut see the post didn't catch on so, will try again.

Love SMR and so do two of our Grandchildren. Am glad as it allows them to expand there mind with quick reflexes and thoughtful decisions.

We all are humans, BTW. Know our one Grandson will probably be arriving here in the near future, with the news I will pass along. He is quite busy now with College and some interesting summer work at this time. I do believe he still finds a bit of time to sneak in some SMR on his laptop.

Hope this posting will stick long enough for the administration to check me in.

Just a heads up you have let the Spam bots in and they are registering like crazy now.
Just look at the member list and all the Spam Links put in the new users Profiles. They have learned that they cant spam in the forum so now they are using Profiles to post their garbage and there are heaps of them 20 to 30 a day by the looks of it.

I tried to play Railroads today but it seem its no longer possible to play online they shut down the servers.

It says "sorry,network services for Sid Meiers Railroads are no longer available.

I also read that there is a Mac version now but before buying it i was wondering it network services are available for it.

Many still play this game online and its a shame they took it of.
I talked to 2K they confirmed that its of their servers....
