Welcome to the forum.
You know you could make a ZIP file from your UserMaps folder. That is C:\My Documents\MyGames\Sid Meier's Railroads!\Usermaps (That's in Windows XP) and upload it here so we could play it too.
We also have a lot of custom maps, in the Maps Database folder that you can download and play.

I think your game looks better on low settings than mine does on high settings.
