Yes they will. If we're luckly they'll push smrsimple to the point where it is self financing. I'm also looking into using S3 for an offsite backup which will cost a few dollars a month.

I've replaced the old Hooked Gamers Menubar with one specific to smrsimple.

Anyone mind sharing their thoughts on it?

I think the navs are fine. Perhaps you could rename the button 'Main Index' to say 'Forum Index', and the 'Search' button to 'Search Forum' - otherwise it's not obvious what they do.

The gray nav has the button 'smrsimple' positioned alone to the right side, while the rest are centre aligned. Also the entire forum isn't centred, is that intentional?

1. Unfortuatly the "Main Index" and "search" are generated by PHPBB.

2. The forum is off center because there is an invisible sidebar that runs down the left, you can see that at the top it is centered when you include the SMR logo and HG news reel.

3. I just guessed the forum's width at 900px, I'll likely adjust it all a bit closer to gether.

1) Boo

2) We're probably looking at the forum using different browsers - In Firefox the forum is centred as you say, however in IE8 it's left aligning:

Your 'wrapfooter' is centre aligned in both browsers. Perhaps you need to 'text-align:center;' the body, although that's an old workaround...

3)

BTW Warll when are you going to update the main 'Forums' nav button on smrsimple.com to point to these forums? Are you still testing this before it goes 'public'?

Goody goody. I can finally imagine this forum blossoming.

There is a huge untapped potential fan audience out there, all those people who bought SMR and were deeply disappointed by the shallow gameplay and the even bigger crowd who stayed away in the first place, after having been disappointed by the laughable demo. So let's go get them! :P

Thought I'd list some of the broken/dead links I've found on my adventures on smrsimple:

Some of these download map links work, others dont:
http://smrsimple.com/wiki/index.php?tit ... ustom_maps
For example starting from the top, Long Beach California works, but New Sosaria doesn't.

None of these train/skin download links appear to work:
http://smrsimple.com/wiki/index.php?tit ... ains_skins

The Forum link points to HG:
http://smrsimple.com/wiki/index.php?tit ... ustom_maps

Warll, hope this helps.
