lOCOMOTIVE AND ROLLING STOCK MODEL PARTS

Post by Modeltrainman » Thu Dec 11, 2008 12:40 am

I wish some of the people who model locomotives for Railroads! could release parts of models, like wheels and boilers and cabs and stuff, so all that people would have to do is import them into a 3d modeling program and snap them together to create a new locomotive. I've tried to model, but I can never do wheels, but if I had some parts I could work with, I would like to build a locomotive for Railroads!.

If you familiar with 3ds max I can help you to build a new model trains, because I think without this software you can do not anything to make a new model especially tyo make a new train. If you familiar with that software, open emd_gp38.nif in 3dsmax then select polygon of wheel then detach as object from main then import your new model into 3ds max and attach wheel object to your model. That is like I change four axles to become six axles

Notice the pictures below a few new train will be action on this game

So you can't do anything to make a new model because if you have a parts form a model ex. wheel or cab from new train you must open thats model in 3dsmax then union all the part become 1 unit to give skin influence if not that model will have no animation
