Sid Meier's Railroads now on Steam

Hi all,

I have just posted a few links to this forum for support over at the Steam forums as Steam is now selling this game online. (have for a while)

Made me laugh they most know something we don't at Steam

I think I saw your posts. You don't get paid for getting new people here :wink:
What I love is that if you look at the Sid Meiers Railroads! site form 2K, it still says it's coming out thi October! We can all drool that that is a new version that their talking about.........NOT!
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

Check out the screen shots of the game on steam. It looks likes theres a different menu? Looks like theres an extra button, a light?

Those are likely images of a beta version of SMR, after all look at the oil well blocking the line, we don't have that in our versions.

I've found those icons inside the game files. It's probably an earlier build.

Ya, I found them also. If you unpack Interface).FPK @ C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\Assets, you'll see them there. I thought they looked familiar.

Very interesting if take2 sold a version to steam to sell online I wonder how that will effect any future patches.

At least I have pointed those poor lost soles over to this forum for support.

Some hope for them

I may look into that copy and see what the graphics are totally like.

Seems to be a screenshot of an online multiplayer game ... could that have something to do with this "5th button?"
