One last thing: Unless it's mogul or lower, I always sell all my stock as needed pretty quick early on (usually in about 20 seconds on tycoon for example). This is what I love: When some joker buys one of my stocks before I've sold the initial 3 thinking he/she is playing strong. I immediately sell,...

I agree with choo....you don't buy the "weakest opponent" no, NEVER. You always buy the strongest. And there's no rule except do what you need to to win. I don't care how much stock I own, I care how much I own vs how much my biggest threat owns. If revenue is very tight (we're close) I tend to keep...

I'm sorry, I have to ask the obvious question: Why would you have 2 tracks not parallel to same destination? There are times to have a set of 2 (it is rare) most notably when competing for several finished goods and you want to eat opponent's share to greater degree. My point is: YOU design a good r...

By your definitions, simple routing is always the way to go. Ignoring the "short cities" trick, the guy with the most engines does tend to win. This is an issue of economic efficiency vs economic inefficiency. I don't want to have trains I pay maintenance on WAITING, switching cars, etc. It really a...

I think it's a good question. I'm a pretty good player, here's my take: First, I'm what that one guy called a "soft bidder" but generally, I don't want the industry, I just want to make you pay too much, that's why I bid. Second: It really depends, what is the industry and how early/late in the game...

Exactly, you can own the industry, ie the factory but not the rights of shipment in or out. To make up your own rules is fine....but to expect other players to know and/or respect these rules that run CONTRARY to the game is a bit self absorbed and ridiculous. Why not just learn how to play the game...

I have to wonder if I'm the player you talked about as I agree with whomever you played: Leeching is legal, tracksneaking is NOT. Here is why: First regarding so called "leeching": If you get a good starting point and I do not, with a "no leeching" rule, this seems a tad unfair. however, if leeching...
