Re: New Train: GE Genesis
As I can not put all the original trains in the right scales I'd rather let my closest of which already exist not to generate a visual conflict. Yep thats the only thing we can do, though i did already rescale/rebuild one of them and probably will do more^^ Making new models is different, there i c...

Re: New Train: GE Genesis
Yeah the Re 6/6 is really a bad model, like many others from firaxis. That doesnt mean there cant be some realistic in this game, its up to us^^
So and heres my proof that your model has the correct width/height proportion, pretty well obviously

Re: New Train: GE Genesis
So.. where do you get those measurements in meters from? ;) Looks like you just converted the generic units by 1/10 to meters, which i doubt to be the correct scale. The GP38-2 is sadly one of the models where the dimensions of the 3 axis are not in scale to eachother, i can admit that. On your pic ...

Re: New Train: GE Genesis
Nice model, did you made that?
I think its a little short, especially noticable at the nose, if you compare it with the drawing of the P-42 here: Is that intended?
But besides that scale is ok, good work

Re: New Passenger & Mail Cars
The XML of the Train Cars? I didnt changed a thing there, all of them using standard passenger/mail XML. The only XML that have to be edited is for the engine, that should pull them (one line of it, as explained above).
