Re: Basin and Range SAM

That sounds awesome. Tell Bobby congrats…I have spent the same amount of time as well on it. I have learned a few things by ripping it apart and solving what troubles I could. The only thing is, on the regular map…when the track rips the landscape etc. I found that if I painted the areas where the t...

Re: Utah: Treasure House, development thread.

Say...any progress? This looks like a good scenario. On the pit mines...have you thought of making the green circle annex area larger? It might allow you to set the mine buildings off to the ledge of the pit area and still have room below at ground level to lay the annex track. I did that on the cla...

Re: PITGOC Peace in the golden crescent

I just tested/downloaded the file from the link on the first post and it worked okay.

EDIT: I mean to say go to the Map Database thread and download the map from there. I see what you mean, the link on this thread is dead. Just go to the Database and you can find all the files there.

Very nice work.
Is there a chance someone could get that model? I just so happen to know someone who needs one for a NASA train.

Re: New Map: JAPAN

Oh...as to the speed record stuff. I found that cities too close will not let the engines run at top speed you set in the engines xml list. More distance is required to get up to speed. Too short of track or sharp curves will slow down any engine as well. I think you have done a great job on history...

Re: SAM maps: How to make them.

The Tunnels files work on my new files I made for the Basin maps. You must use "both" the scenario and global files for them to work and be written in a saved game file. Works great and fixs the missing tunnels problem this game has. Try downloading the files I just posted for the Basin fix and try ...

Re: New Map: JAPAN

Nice scenario TMILLER. I enjoyed the new music added. I have done this as well on one of my old maps. The events look great as well. Nice to see someone making new events and music. I think maybe the Oil Tanker model of mine from way back and some of the new fuel port, have a spec or emsk problem as...

Re: Basin And Range 2-maps CIC build Size 13-16 -18

I have repaired several trains in this mod. Basin and Range has had troubles with several engines from the start. I had to rebuild everything from the ground up. Even inside the Nif and Kfm files for each car and engine. This has corrected all troubles with their rendering in game. Screenshots will ...

Re: Basin And Range 2-maps CIC build Size 13-16 -18

Just found an error. One of those last minute changes that went over looked. I was playing with using only a global goods file...switching back and forth using just the global one or having both the global and scenario file. I replaced the RRT_Goods_basinandrangelm18cic.xml list. However inside the ...

Re: Basin And Range 2-maps CIC build Size 13-18

Update...Size 18 map posted on the first post. Runs and saves Solid. I just pulled the old size 13 and 16 links, as the land map file has been found to be faulty. The trouble is the old Basin land map is using the Sat data for coloring the land map. Even though the game "says" the color data...

Re: Basin And Range 2-maps CIC build Size 13-16

Update...Just found the Industries and a couple other errors in the size 16 map. I have made the changes and am testing...should have the link updated in a few...sorry for that. EDIT:: I just re-uploaded the size 16 file with corrections. Some of the industry processes were not set all the way. I st...

Re: Basin And Range 2-maps CIC build Size 13-16

I should also mention that the Industries and a couple other files still need a couple items pulled out of the lists. The lists I used to get started were copied from the regular BasinAndRange map files from way back. I know for a fact I am not done fine-tuning the size 16 map. I also have a size 18...

Basin And Range 2-maps CIC build Size 13 -18

Hello everyone. Right now I am working on rebuilding the Florida Gold and Georgia Peaches maps. Well...I needed a break from PhotoShop and started messing around with the old Basin and Range files. I always loved that map and still do. The map would crash and never save the players progress. Well I ...

Re: Western Russia

This is going to be a great map. You had asked about starting cities...the game wants at least 4 for a minimum at game start. Keep up the good work. Looks great! I love the slower growth rate for the cities too…makes the game last longer. :D P.S. Opps somehow I missed Karsten's post above...sorry. :...
