Re: Newbie questions
You will find the XML files in the folder structure of the SMR folder - since I have the game on PC, you will have to dig down and find them on Mac yourself. Get yourself a free XML editor to view both the original files (don't change them, or you will have to reinstall your game) and the XML files ...

Re: Newbie questions
Basically, the editor is there to fine-sculpt the landscape. All the rest is best defined in the XML files.
You want to place a cannery? Check out how it was done in an existing map XML with canneries - and off you go.
Best of luck!

Re: Arizona Gold V2.4 PcMac
"the file in the map database is more than 5MB."
No wonder that file crashes. It has a humongous .fpk file included. I will investigate how that got into there.
In the mean time, I really would try the new zip file, it should work fine.

Re: Arizona Gold V2.4 PcMac
The zip file opens fine with WinRar on my Windows machine.
This zip is specially adapted to work on Mac SMR, so please try again - otherwise, what zip program should I use for max compatibility with Mac?

Re: Mac User issues Thread
This map: Arizona_Canyon_V2_4_PcMac.zip, link below
has been specifically adjusted to run on Mac. Could you try it and let me know if it works, and if not, what happened?
Thanks!

Re: Track Laying Observations
I agree. I also get rid of the bunch of signals. I do take this bunching as a warning that the routing logic has been stymied in trying to resolved the logic of the connections. I suspect that circular connections may be a cause, so I avoid those as much as possible, breaking circles with Y type con...

Re: Track Laying Observations
As mentioned further up, a double click will place a signal. But as also mentioned above, click fairly slowly, otherwise you will get a (free ) piece of track snaking all over the map.

MasteRyder,
your solution works. I though it a pity to lose the historical "Italian Front", however, and I was able to fix the issue. Check out my solution, posted in Janksica's original map thread!

Re: Austrian Hungarian Monarchy SAM
One remaining issue with "Monarchy" has been the failure of the "Italian Front" to register with a green tick mark, even though it has been built. MasteRyder recently proposed solving the issue by replacing the "Italian Front" by a second "Russian Front" in Italy. This works, but I thought it a pity...

Re: Uploading?
You seem to have provided four scenarios versions together. (screenshot) What exactly is the purpose of that?
