Re: How to Spot Someone using the Worst Cheat of all:The Tra

out of sync is fun. I had 8/10 of my competitor's stock, and when I brought one extra to 9/10, he got booted out. what happened was the lag caused the competitor to not register a sale of their stock earlier, so their computer had 9/10 when my computer only had 8/10. so when I brought his stock to 9...

Re: Multi-Player Rule Systems

its a free world, there are no rules. Its the most ruthless, efficient, deceptive player that wins.

All the Robber Barons in the game made their way to the top like that. John D. Rockefeller even blew up his competitor's factories back then to ensure monopoly.

Re: Rhodes Unfinished

for successful emulation, you have to make a big map, at least 15x15 or much bigger. Trains in RRT3 travel distance, trains in SMR travel the distance a few times longer than the actual train, and ruins the realism.

Re: Online strategy guide

this game is so bugged you can have ridiculously hacks.

eg: 'walking' stations aka 'double track then delete' to create create zero travel distance between two towns.

Re: Ultimate train table save

Wow that is beautiful. How did you get the semi-circalar routes working though? The tri-setup, can be extended to many more stations. The circular setup uses a different entry station at any one stop in the system to prevent traffic flowing on the wrong side of the track. here's the illustration:

Re: Online strategy guide

I am glad to hear my mistakes pointed out. I only waned to make some points, and not intended this guide as a Top Players guide. The game I posted is itself a easy game, and I didn't put too much emphasis on overall efficiency.

9. Use your cash. Don't leave your cash stack up. Buy stocks. Stocks rise in value, and when you sell them you get very valuable return. 10. Build efficient networks. A efficient network with only 3 raw material deposits can earn more money than an opponent with 10 resource deposits spread all over ...

5. Prevent stealing. By building your station closest to the raw material deposit, your opponent might try to steal, but you will always get the most because you are the closest. 6. Bridges for raw material deposit. Build bridges by pressing + button when laying track. Trains go fast when going down...
