Re: EastCoast SAM map

Hello, I downloaded the "fixed" version from the "SAM's for everybody" thread and found the same issue that is listed above; there is an impossible mission requirement to ship medicine from Toronto. Also, it seems the Textiles to Workers and Manufacturing Goods to Workers resource chain is not funct...

Coding stuff is easy. At least the scenario XML is, I havent messed around with any of the others (and dont plan to). If you have a map and some historical references I'd be glad to some up with something. The Island chain map was looslely based off of Hawaii's history, with the attack on Pearl Harb...

Glad you all enjoyed it! If you have any tips/suggestions/ect let me know. Was the scenario too easy? Was it too hard? I play on Mogul difficulty and I figure if I fail a couple of times then the difficulty is just right. I'll take a look around and see if there are any other great maps lying around...

Try using the "Wait until full" option on your trains

Look for a checkbox in the lower corner when picking a stop. And why do you only have 5 cars? You should have 8 passenger cars with the wait until full option on.

I've been wanting to play around with scenarios for awhile, and I figured for my first try I'd make a scenario for this map! I've played it through a couple of times and didn't get any errors; can someone else give it a try and tell me what they think of my first try at scenario objectives?

@ Universum - I have the same problems with parallel routing. two trains, two unconnected parallel tracks, one train on each track: occasionally, one will "hop" from one line onto the other, causing havoc

Bug maybe?

I came really close this time on very easy/hard routing! Couldn't get Las Vegas to develop fast enough to build an army base. However, I know what I did wrong: I needed more passenger trains going to Las Vegas and another gold train going there as well. I wasn't able to build an army base until one ...

Guess I fall into the category of SMR players, because after 4 tries (from eastern starting positions) on easy I could not complete the objectives.

I just think the difficulties in the map should accurately reflect the difficulties chosen. If someone chooses investor (very easy) the map should be, well, very easy. And vise versa. Investor should be a cake walk and robber baron should have you on your toes. This map would cater to more audiences...

DISCLAIMER: These are my opinions take them with a grain of salt. Your mileage may vary. I cant see anyone beating this map on anything other that easy/very easy. 75% of the cities dont demand or produce ANYTHING, and all of the resources are on the east side of the map. I knew this map was gonna be...

Even if your drive is not called C: you will still have one. Just maybe under another name. Yea I have two hard drives actually. The problem is that the software does not allow you to change what drive letter you are installing to. It defaults directly to C: and is an auto installer with no option ...

Can someone make me a grayscale digital elevation data map

I don't have a C: drive on my computer so I cannot install the required software to generate a digital elevation data map. I was wondering if someone could make one for southern africa. I have attached a pic from google maps of the desired area for this map. I would like it to be 901x901 pixels. Tha...
