One thing that came to me when I was suggesting its' use in my Map Lesson, a few of the Annexes require one of two lines, <Hasfields>1</HasFields> and <InForrests>1</InForrests> . These lines put the nessesary fields and forrests on the map. It might be good to add those in there. It might be first...

Darn, another software toy to play with....... Questions - is this any relation to C++? Is the any 'You have to buy it' software needed to work in this language? Does C# confuse the human mind? By the way, Good Work! Hi Snoopy, C# is based on C++ and in many ways is easier to develop with. It is ve...

Scenario Manager 3.0

Hi everyone, this is modified version of the Scenario Manager which works with patched Railroads! I have used it to create my Utah scenario and to modify Arizona Gold for version 2.2. Fixes and improvements: - correctly handles RRT_Names_???.xml - contains better error handling so that it won't cras...

Hi Tomas, your picture has wrong dimensions. You have to create image 1024x512. The actual picture can only occupy top left corner and have described size (i.e. 742x300). There will be quite a big portion of the image left empty. Best way how to do images is to take existing event_xxx.dds file, rena...

Hi Choo-Pappa Enterprises, nice map and wonderful models. I have just completed it on Investor level. I was my 3rd or 4th attempt and all previous ended with crash somewhere in the 2nd era but I cannot pinpoint any circumstances, I was just watching trains when it happened. I also cannot load saved ...

universum, I finally got some time, played into the second era and will have to pick it up from there. I hope my computer will hold out. Your Utah looks nice. It's had to replicate the some of the world's greatest scenery; covering the whole state and all, there just isn't enough room. I like the N...

Re: Utah at Robber Baron

Done. No CTDs despite my modest computer. Dropped Atanis installer, as there were no maintanence costs on trains. Best map/scenario so far. Completed all the goals in july 1980 - starting in Ogden. Robber Baron and hard train rooting. Congratulations! Your Salt Lake City track layout looks similar ...

I tryed to play this map but it crashed before i could get started. Hi Chalako, I am not sure what is causing the problems you have but it could only be interference with some other maps or insufficient hardware (not enough memory). Did you use my "manual" installer from original post or Atani's in...

Re: Utah

Okey, Universum. First step, don't care about bringing wood into Evanston. With 400,000 in starting money it's easy go connect the nearby "ruralities" to Green River. Because of the low production rate on industries, I did not care about track elevation when connecting to Evanston. Finishing the fi...

Well, I started playing on Robber Baron but after missing the first era by this much four times because I couldn't make enough money to buy the last segment of track I dropped back down to Tycoon. A little trick when you cannot finish the tracks is to sell some of it to get enough money to reach th...

Gee thanks...That's what I am placing on my Florida map. I shouldn't have talked about what I was making before it was posted. Besides...there are no rockets in Utah. Actually they are building solid rocket boosters for Space Shuttle in Promontory, Utah. I was thinking about making it one of scenar...

Hello universum yep you may be right I suppose my point really is do we have to have so many scenarios and perhaps such a large map? Would it not be possible to do a two parter or 3 parter like a mini series. Complete map 1 then do map 2 and then finally map 3 It is definitely possible but it would...

Phew, now that was a workout. Congratulations on a finely sculpted masterpiece. Lots of fun and frustration. Hi Dr. Frag, thanks. I hope I will be seeing your Australia scenario some day, Karsten should now really have time to work on goals for it as promissed when he is not wasting his time playin...

Thanks to Universum for the challenge. Ran smoothly with Atani's first installer - no extra money on startup. Starting location was Green River WY - succeeded to finish all the goals as a mogul. So Universum: With $900,000 in starting money I think it would be possible to succeed on Robber Baron, s...
